I am a Death and Transition Doula, a person who assists people in times of change or through the dying process. This is a community-based role aimed at helping people cope with the experience of loss and renewal and recognizing both processes as natural and important parts of life. I am here to walk with individuals and their families during those moments and to help them understand and manage grief which can manifest in many forms.
My intention is to serve as a guide for anyone and everyone involved in a significant life change and to provide tools allowing them to navigate through the fog of uncertainty which often accompany these events. Services offered include, but are not limited to companionship, coordinating a circle of support, memorial portraiture, keeping bedside vigil at the end, crisis packets for individuals, businesses or agencies, identifying grief and employing tools to deal with it during your transitions.

Your Death & Transition Doula
Nicole medically retired as a police officer after suffering a career ending injury. She then managed three local cemeteries before working in a local funeral home. While in this role, she realized that she wanted to help people in a more personal, positive way. She became a certified Death Doula and has expanded into a Transition Doula to help people through the trials of life and understanding the natural dying process.
